AdvancED Joins Early Care and Education Consortium

TEMPE, AZ – AdvancED®, an advocate for early childhood education, has been approved as a member of the Board of Directors of the Early Care and Education Consortium (ECEC). In that role, AdvancED will provide leadership to efforts to strengthen early childhood education and support state and national policy initiatives that further the development of young children.
 
AdvancED, the world leader in school improvement and accreditation services, also will provide information regarding the programs and services it provides to early childhood institutions and professionals helping to improve knowledge and understanding of the needs of those serving young children.

ECEC is a non-profit alliance of America’s leading national, regional and independent providers of high-quality child care and early learning and development programs for young children. ECEC was formed in 1999 to be a provider voice to shape public policy in support of high-quality care and education for children and families.
 
“By serving on the ECEC Board of Directors with other like-minded organizations, we can have a greater impact on the quality of care and education that is afforded future generations,” stated Bohling.
