Policies & Procedures
The AdvancED Accreditation Policies and Procedures represent the unified policies and procedures for accreditation from AdvancED's Accreditation Divisions: North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI), Northwest Accreditation Commission (NWAC), and Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI).
These policies and procedures apply to all schools/school systems seeking NCA CASI, NWAC, or SACS CASI accreditation, with the exception of postsecondary non-degree granting institutions seeking NCA CASI accreditation. Separate policies and procedures apply to these schools.
For the purposes of these policies, the term school system includes school districts, systems of schools, corporations, and education service agencies.
