Welcome to the Tennessee State Office Web site of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI). SACS CASI is an accreditation division of AdvancED. Learn more about AdvancED.
Tennessee SACS CASI proudly accredits more than 1,400 Tennessee schools, including public and private elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, special purpose schools, vocational schools, and unit schools serving more than 890,000 students.
Our vision is that every child in Tennessee attends a school accredited by Tennessee SACS CASI. Our mission is that Tennessee SACS CASI will provide leadership and continuous school improvement that supports and promotes world-class schools focusing on student performance.
The Tennessee State office is here to support every aspect of school accreditation from administering quality assurance reviews to providing technical assistance and professional development.
