AdvancED State Councils provide guidance and leadership to state offices in the delivery of accreditation, research, and professional services at the state level. They assist the state office in strategic planning, support the implementation of the AdvancED accreditation process, provide leadership in the design and delivery of professional development across the state, and work to ensure high quality service to schools and districts in the state. In addition, State Councils review and make recommendations regarding the accreditation status for schools and school districts within the state.
