The NCA CASI Postsecondary Recognition Council provides guidance and leadership to the postsecondary office by reviewing and establishing the accreditation status for all non-degree granting postsecondary schools within its authority and by developing and enforcing standards, policies, and procedures for the accreditation of non-degree granting postsecondary schools. In addition, the council serves as the long-range planning committee for postsecondary non-degree granting schools and ensures ongoing compliance with requirements of the United States Department of Education (USDOE) to maintain USDOE recognition.
