Welcome to the Oklahoma Web site of the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI). Oklahoma NCA CASI is proud to be an accreditation division of AdvancED. Supported by and housed at the Oklahoma State Department of Education, the Oklahoma State Office provides accreditation and school improvement services to over 350 public and nonpublic schools across the state.

 

We are pleased to announce that we have hired Daniel Craig to serve as State Director for Oklahoma. Dan will begin on January 4 at our offices located in and sponsored by the Oklahoma Department of Education. Dan brings many years of experience to his new position. Prior to joining AdvancED, he served as the Senior Coordinator for School Improvement in the Office of Accountability, Education Oversight Board, where he coordinated the Oklahoma School Performance Review Program. In this role, he worked closely with school and districts leaders across the state to assist them in their improvement efforts. In addition, he spent several years at the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education serving as the Coordinator for Student Preparation overseeing the statewide EPAS program. Prior to serving at the state-level, Dan served as a social studies teacher, coach, principal, and athletic director in public schools across the state. He is active in several state-wide education organizations, including serving as Conference Chairman of the Oklahoma Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development and Board Member of the Coalition for the Advancement of Science and Mathematics Education in Oklahoma. September 2009 - AdvancED, the parent organization of the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI), and the Oklahoma State Department of Education announced a partnership to sponsor and support NCA CASI accreditation for schools and districts across the state.
