Missouri NCA CASI proudly accredits nearly 300 public and private schools in the state, including elementary, middle, secondary, special purpose, vocational, unit, college preparatory, and early childhood, with enrollments totaling more than 170,000 students.

Currently, 12 Missouri School Districts have expressed an interest in the District Accreditation process, and we are excited about the possibilities for Missouri students. AdvancED is a powerful school improvement partner, and through a district-wide accreditation process, applied at all grade levels, we believe schools can set reasonable goals and truly celebrate their successes. North Kansas City School District is the first candidate in Missouri for AdvancED District Accreditation, having begun the process of self review this fall. The Park Hill and Camdenton school districts, among others, have submitted their letters of interest in the District Accreditation process, as well.

We enjoyed a very satisfying two-day Fall Conference in early October 2007. More than 150 registrants gathered in Columbia, MO, to participate in their choice of 27 sessions, including several led by top national presenters from the executive offices of AdvancED. We were particularly pleased to have hosted Dr. Mark Elgart, CEO of AdvancED, as a Keynote speaker. If you missed it, be sure to check our Web site often for information on next fall's conference.
