Mississippi SACS CASI has offices in Jackson, the capital city, and on the beautiful Mississippi Gulf Coast on the University of Southern Mississippi's Gulf Coast Campus. The process of accreditation is designed to give schools and districts the support to improve in the pursuit of their goals and expectations. Accreditation involves three major components for a school or district: meeting standards, engaging in continuous improvement, and providing for quality assurance.
Mississippi SACS CASI is committed to assisting the elementary, middle, and secondary schools in Mississippi in their efforts to become accredited and to provide continuous educational improvement that results in a quality education for the students served by their respective schools. There are over 500 elementary, middle, and secondary schools in Mississippi accredited by SACS CASI.
