Welcome to the Web site of the Latin America Office of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI). We proudly accredit 98 schools across Latin America. Our accredited schools serve more than 59,000 students in 25 countries, including Argentina, Bahamas, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Netherlands Antilles, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Trinidad, Uruguay, and Venezuela.

For almost 80 proud years, schools in the Latin American community have sought accreditation with SACS CASI. This is a tradition that will carry into what is now, under AdvancED, a unified global accreditation process. SACS CASI is an accreditation division of AdvancED.

Latin American schools engaged in the accreditation process adhere to a rigorous set of accreditation standards. This Web site is designed to provide information and resources to assist in the accreditation process.
