AdvancED seeks to provide high quality personalized and customized service to accredited schools and districts. Because of this focus, AdvancED has selected and trained a team of qualified professionals known as AdvancED Field Consultants. These individuals support schools and districts by delivering a variety of services related to accreditation, continuous improvement, and quality assurance on behalf of AdvancED at the state and local levels. Field Consultants serve as an extension of the state office of AdvancED. Some services that AdvancED Field Consultants assist with include:
- Conducting school and district readiness visits
- Providing technical assistance and/or consulting services
- Giving presentations on the AdvancED accreditation process and programs
- Conducting training through workshops and seminars on accreditation and related topics
- Chairing school and district Quality Assurance Review teams
- Representing AdvancED in the professional community
- Assisting their affiliated state office in carrying out its service plan and initiatives
- Serving on AdvancED project committees and task forces
